3.ISOKING Rock Wool Board - Maintenance & Inspection Tips

Our ISOKING rock wool board is built to last, but a little regular care goes a long way to keep it performing at its best. Here’s what you need to do:

Daily Inspection: Take a quick look every now and then. Check if the outer protective layer (like the facing or wrapping) is intact—no tears, holes or loose edges. If you spot any damage, patch it up right away to stop moisture or dust from getting in.

Routine Maintenance: Keep the surface clean. Just wipe off any dirt or debris with a dry cloth; no need for harsh chemicals. Avoid stacking heavy stuff on top of the boards, especially if they’re used for partitions or wall insulation—this keeps them from getting squashed out of shape.

Periodic Check-Ups: Every few months, do a more thorough check. For boards used outdoors or in humid areas, make sure there’s no water pooling around them. For industrial applications (like equipment insulation), check if the boards are still tightly fitted—no gaps that might affect insulation or fire resistance.
