ISOKING rock wool board is made from natural basalt and recycled industrial slag—simple, tough materials that make it a reliable workhorse for insulation needs. It’s non-combustible (Euroclass A1 rated) and can stand up to high temperatures, so it keeps buildings safe from fire while locking in heat or blocking it out. The dense, fibrous structure doesn’t just insulate well—it also soaks up noise, whether it’s traffic outside or equipment hum in a factory. Plus, it’s durable as hell—no rotting, shrinking, or losing performance over time—and easy to cut and fit, even for tricky spots like roof gaps or wall cavities. Pick sunny days for installation—skip rainy or super humid weather. Brand-new rock wool boards soak up moisture easily, and damp boards will lose their insulation power fast.
Lay the boards in a staggered pattern, just like bricklaying. Don’t line up the seams of upper and lower layers; aligned gaps create "thermal bridges" that let heat leak through.
Use rust-proof anchors or clips for fixing. Regular iron fasteners will rust over time, making the boards loose and even fall off.
Don’t let workers step on the boards or pile heavy stuff on them before the outer protective layer is installed. It’ll crush the boards out of shape and ruin the seal.
Don’t leave leftover scraps lying around the construction site. Bag and clear them right away—this stops the fibers from floating everywhere and cuts down on site cleanup work later.
